Haley did excellant in cheer this year. She received a special plaque award from her coack for being "3-D" in cheer. She & her good friend, Chelsie, (standing next to her) both received it. It stands for being Dedicated, Delightful & Dynamic in cheerleading. Haley also received the highest honor in the "Gold Star" division of awards her coach was giving. She received a big gold star, a Mustang cup with goodies, a "Gold Star" t-shirt, and a $10 gift certificate. Some of the compliments on her star were: Cheering at an entire JV football game, actually cheering people on at the PTU Fun Run, having the determiniation to work hard enough to do a successful basket toss and being willing to decorate the locker room for the football team. Basically she & her friend Chelsie were the only ones who were willing to do whatever their coach asked of them....no fuss, no whining & never trying to get out of it...!!! I look forward to Haley being Captain of the cheer squad next year...because I know she's going to be aWeSoMe!
