So we left Beverly Beach with the thought that we'd make it to The Dalles... here we stopped at Cape Foulweather & checked some stuff out as we drove up the coast....
HAD to make a stop at Tillamook... LOVE their cheese & LOVE their ice cream! REALLY REALLY LOVE Dylan's face in that truck!
Everything was on course & we took a few moments to stop at Multnomah Falls... can't drive along the Columbia without stopping here... It's so beautiful! I wish we had time to climb up the bridge... maybe another time! We thought we needed to get to the campground so we could go have dinner at Cousins Restaurant in The Dalles...
We saw some beautiful sights... but never found the campground we were looking for. Took a nice drive into Washington State & paid a toll on the darn toll bridge... made it late to The Dalles & got the last room at the Super 8. It was a nice enough place & we just didn't care as long as we could shower & get clean... We ended up eating at Denny's... (Blech...) & hit the sack...!!!
