Turkey Day Celebrations!

My sweet friend Megan helped me re-create my in-laws original wedding cake on a smaller scale. She did an excellent job & I must say my frosting recipe turned out wonderful too! I mixed the frosting & she did all the baking & decorating.... it was quite a partnership! Thanks Megan.... you made their day!

I love holidays where family & friends can gather together!

How many times can anyone say their 50th Anniversary fell right on Thanksgiving Day? We all gathered at the Brisbin "Seniors" to help them celebrate. We spent the entire day with them & it was wonderful! There was great food eaten & good naps taken!
