Our brave boy!

Our sweet Dylan had eye surgery the other day to try to correct the Exotropia Strabismus in his left eye. Dylan was incrediably brave & we are so glad to have that done.

On our car ride home, Dylan wasn't bothered by the anesthesia & wanted me to pick up some McDonalds for him... it was after 5pm and he hadn't eaten since dinner the night before. They say the anesthesia can bother the tummy, but Dylan was perfectly good & ate 2 value meal cheeseburgers!

When we got home, Dylan wanted to lay on the "camping" bed & watch his shows. The first night he slept a lot and the next day he laid around pretty much all day. Gramma Sandi & Aunt Alli came by & brought Dylan some candy... that made him pretty happy... I had to stay out in the "kid" room with Dylan because he wanted me close... It's nice to be needed!

Dylan's post-op appointment 2 days after the surgery went well. Dr. Lee was pleased with the way his eye was lining up & we'll see what she says after seeing Dylan tomorrow.!
